Currently, no company in the Czech Republic has such extensive experience selling on online marketplaces, and our ambition is to leverage this for continued growth. For a long time, we operated on a trial-and-error basis. The priority was to get things done quickly – the faster, the better. When something didn't work out, we didn’t make a big deal out of it. We learned from the experience and moved on.

Today, we stand on solid foundations. We have clearly defined processes, make decisions based on data and key metrics, and streamline complex operations.. This helps us scale faster and act on new global opportunities. We’ve learned that the healthy growth isn't a sprint, so every single step is now planned for long-term success.

We’ve always been very open to young, ambitious people who aren’t afraid of big challenges and who persevere even when a solution is nowhere in sight. Over time, these people have worked their way up and today form our core team. In many ways, we're self-made. We like to say that this is our greatest strength, because we can handle any situation that comes our way.

On the other hand, we realize we don't always have to do everything ourselves. There's no need to reinvent the wheel. That's why today, we're glad to have people join us who bring experience from other countries, industries, or larger companies and want to apply it here. In return, we offer them the freedom to create and build things their own way.

We've always believed in open and honest feedback, even when it's critical. We have since refined how we act on it by developing a robust evaluation system linked to both KPIs and our values. The process includes a 360-degree review, followed by a one-on-one with a manager that informs each employee's development plan for the year ahead.

If we see that someone hasn't quite found their footing or seeks a new challenge, we enroll them in our 'shadowing' program. If it’s a good fit, they have the opportunity to transition. We want to hire people who are eager to grow, so we provide them with the tools and space to do so. This is an active focus for us.

XCOINS are virtual temporary shares of EXPANDO, used to implement an incentive program for key employees and associates. This program entitles them to a share of the company's profits or gains from a sale or listing. Ten percent of EXPANDO is allocated to these key individuals, with specific shares and distribution based on their tenure and position within the company.

Every month, we host an all-hands meeting at our Prague office. We present our results, showcase new developments, and, most importantly, celebrate our collaborative efforts. When the weather is nice, we barbecue on the terrace and often stay late into the night. It’s a time not only to discuss work but also to enjoy each other’s company.

Some of our team members decided to join us after experiencing an all-hands party during their interview. They saw a relaxed, friendly environment where everyone is genuine. We interact openly, regardless of positions, and focus on achieving great results together.

Some of our colleagues come to the office every day, while others visit just once or twice a week. We also have many team members who work remotely from their towns and villages, occasionally visiting the nearest office for team meetings or to catch up with colleagues.

As long as you are reliable, can organize your work, and communicate effectively, your work location doesn't matter to us. We're accustomed to remote work and have all our onboarding and training materials available online, so you can join us from anywhere.

We have offices in Prague and Havířov. No matter which office you visit, you'll be warmly welcomed by colleagues asking, "What's new?" Each office has its own setup, but they all operate the same way—nothing is discussed behind closed doors, and you are always welcome to join any discussion.
