Your Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Gathering data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
- Data Cleaning: Ensuring the data is accurate and free from errors by cleaning and preprocessing it.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing the data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Pipeline Architecture: Build, test, and maintain pipeline architectures, ensuring that data flows smoothly from source to destination.
- Custom Reporting: Developing custom reports tailored to the specific needs of different departments or stakeholders within the organization.
- Data Visualization: Creating visual representations of data to make complex information easier to understand.
- Data Warehousing and Management: Skilled in designing (modeling) and managing data warehouses and databases.
- Automation and Optimization: Automating data delivery processes and optimizing data workflows to ensure efficiency and data quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and other peers in Business units to understand requirements to create new data products and tools.
- Team Collaboration: Work in DevOps teams, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions and reusable frameworks.
Your Skills
- Power BI: Advanced skills in Power BI, including modeling, Power query, DAX, formulas, and ability to create clear and effective visualizations.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights is crucial.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to solve complex data-related problems.
- Business Acumen: Understanding business principles to provide relevant insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Project and code management: Azure DevOps or similar.
- Platforms and tools: Databricks, Power BI, Azure.
- Programming: SQL / Python.
- Data modeling and concepts: Dimensional modeling, Data Lakehouse.
