ECOMMERCE SPECIALIST

The eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for configuring, launching, and maintaining eCommerce platforms for our clients. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of assigned eCommerce platforms, uploading new product information and responding to client requests. The position requires a candidate who has great technical, problem-solving, and communication skills, in addition to a strong desire to learn about eCommerce technology. The role will include technology and platform-specific training, as well as on-going knowledge sharing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF YOUR ROLE

  • Configure, set up, and maintain our eCommerce websites on VALO, Legacy eStore, and Four51

  • Configure and maintain demo websites for use by our Tech Solutions team in acquiring new business
  • Load product and user data onto the eCommerce sites
  • Create and update complex variable data templates for sites that accept end-user input
  • Collect and format customer-provided design files to publish on eCommerce sites
  • Provide technical and eCommerce administration assistance for our internal teams
  • Remain current with all new technology enhancements deployed to the VALO platform each month
  • Test new technology features for bugs and functionality after each Sprint release and share feedback with Development team
  • Provide technical writeup of new features and enhancements for eCommerce team training
  • Build and maintain site-specific SOP pages for every active site and each new site at go-live
  • Review SOW’s for new site builds with internal teams to ensure accuracy of scope requirements against technology capabilities
  • Effectively and accurately track work hours by account to allow for successful client billing each quarter
  • QC work of team members ensuring accurate and efficient turn time for incoming requests
  • Document operational workflows

WHAT ARE WE EXPECTING FROM YOU?

  • 1+ years of professional work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
  • Experience with managing customer projects
  • Ability to multi-task to manage various client requests at once
  • Quick learner with a strong desire to learn the InnerWorkings business and eCommerce technology to grow with this position
  • Technical aptitude with ability to grasp technology concepts around the InnerWorkings eCommerce platform
  • Past experience in Technology, Project Management, or Technical Support role is desired
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is desired
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skill
  • English - fluent
