We are ShipMonk, and we provide logistics services in order fulfillment. Our main business is in the USA, but our modern platform is built by the Product Development team in Prague. Here at ShipMonk, we process up to 100,000 orders per day in our peak season. Our book of business has more than 1,500 clients, which are small and medium e-shops, mostly based in the US. We offer the ShipMonk platform as the solution for the whole process. It covers everything from stocking the items to shipping the ready packages to all corners of the world! ShipMonk runs ecommerce fulfillment for 1,500+ brands from 12+ fulfillment centers, up to 100,000 orders a day in peak season. The platform is built in Prague.
We are creating an AI domain from scratch, and you will be one of its first builders.
You work as a hands-on internal technical consultant. You look for AI opportunities with HR, Sales, Marketing and Operations, prototype quickly, and ship what works to production. You also help the whole company become more AI-first.
What You'll Do
Spot AI opportunities in business teams and turn vague asks into scoped projects
- Prototype fast with AI coding tools, then harden and deploy what proves its value
- Build the data each tool needs: pipelines into Snowflake and clean models in dbt
- Ship AI solutions: agents, RAG assistants and automations, with evals so we know they work
- Integrate with the tools teams already use: Slack, CRM, ticketing, n8n, MCP
- Lead AI enablement: workshops, office hours and templates that help colleagues build with AI
- Measure adoption and iterate
What You’ll Bring
You build AI-first, hands-on. Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools are part of your daily work.
- You have taken apps built this way into production: deployed, secured, monitored and used by real people.
- You have built the data behind a product: at least one pipeline or data model that real users relied on.
- Strong Python and SQL
- You love experimenting with new AI tools and showing others how to use them
- You are comfortable working with business users and own problems from idea to adoption, and can show the impact in numbers
- 3+ years of hands-on engineering, in a product, startup, solutions or data team
Nice To Have
Snowflake, dbt, Airflow
- Pydantic AI, Langfuse or similar
- TypeScript or Streamlit for quick internal front ends
