We’re looking for a hands-on IT & Security Specialist to join our IT team, who must be a proactive professional with strong IT administration skills and a passion for security. In this hybrid role, you’ll be on a mission to safeguard Rossum’s IT environment by managing security incidents, strengthening endpoint protection, and ensuring secure configurations across Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, and MacOS. You'll also be a key player in managing and improving our core IT systems.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be a key player in keeping Rossum secure, with responsibilities such as:
- Security Incident Response & Threat Management: Investigate and respond to phishing attempts, account compromises, and zero-day vulnerabilities.
- Endpoint & Platform Security: Manage EDR alerts, ensure secure MacOS configurations, and enforce best practices across Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, and Confluence.
- Awareness & CSIRT: Act as part of the CSIRT, handle responsible disclosures, and deliver security trainings and phishing simulations.
- Project & Process Improvement: Lead projects to strengthen our security posture, optimize workflows, and explore AI-driven automation.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).
- Strong skills in MacOS administration, EDR platforms, and IT security incident response.
- Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with AI-based security tools, scripting, automation, or Rossum’s API.

What Success Looks Like
Within 3 Months
- Get up to speed with Rossum’s IT & security stack.
- Build trust and connections across teams.
- Identify 2–3 quick improvements in IT & security operations.
Within 6 Months
- Deliver engaging security awareness training.
- Lead at least one security project.
- Refresh documentation to make processes easier for everyone.
Within 12 Months
- Reduce incident frequency and response times measurably.
- Embed a strong culture of security across the company.
- Implement AI-driven solutions that improve how we work.
